Hiking

The valley  is an ideal place for hiking. Its landscapes, its lookouts, flowers and animals, show all the variety of the region of Hautes Alpes.

It is situated partially in th Ecrins National Park and is still quite protected and wild. Dormillouse is one of the access of the park. It is only accessible on foot and remains the only inhabited village in a park in France.
There, you will find the trail of Gr 50 and the one of Via Alpina.
