Welcome to Les 5 Saisons

The Valley of Freissinières is a true natural stopover. When you enter this valley, you would be far from suspecting that it extends over nearly 10 km, a hidden and preserved setting! At the end of the valley, you could discover thanks to a very well laid out and easy path, the village of Dormillouse, a former Vaudois village. It is also the starting point for many hikes of all levels.

The Valley of Freissinières is full of activities, in summer you can practice: rock climbing, via ferrata, survey the many hiking trails leading to superb lakes and rocky peaks (breathtaking panoramas), ride on mountain bike singles at full speed but also swallow the km of marked trails; in winter you can practice: Nordic hiking, skating or alternative skiing in the plain of Freissinières, the legendary snowshoeing, planting ice axes in the many ice falls, discovering Dormillouse in sealskins (ski hiked). Depending on the snow cover, it is sometimes possible to do the via ferrata as well as the south-facing hikes in winter. You can also schedule visits to local craftsmen and the Vauban fortifications.

Come and discover or rediscover our magnificent expanses of larch, the region's mythical tree, which turns apple green in summer or deep orange in autumn. It will lose its needles in winter.

We will welcome you with great pleasure in our superb building for a short stay or a one-week course based on several activities. With our restaurant located on the ground floor, you can enjoy authentic and regional dishes cooked with as many organic and local products as possible.

See you soon at the Hotel** Restaurant Gîtes Les 5 Saisons !
